Michael Droege
Co-Founder & CEO
Michael Droege is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fair Winds Medical. Mr. Droege has over 23 years of global medical device experience and expertise. At Fair Winds, Mr. Droege is responsible for advising clients in all aspects of their medical device businesses, including corporate mission, bespoke strategies, revenue-generating partnerships, worldwide distribution relationships, product management, and sales and marketing. Prior to founding Fair Winds Medical, Mr. Droege was Executive Vice President of Consensus Orthopedics/Tracpatch, a leading international manufacturer, and distributor of orthopedic solutions (implants and wearable products) to help surgeons deliver better outcomes. While at Consensus/Tracpatch, he was responsible for developing and executing the company’s market strategies, identifying and maintaining strategic business opportunities, and establishing and overseeing the company’s global distribution and trade routes. Earlier, Mr. Droege was the Co-Founder and General Manager of American Surgeons International (ASI), an international medical technology distribution and surgical services company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During his tenure, Mr. Droege designed and executed a global business plan, built an extensive network of industry relationships, and traveled globally to source leading-edge medical-device products from multiple distribution channels. He also established agreements and relationships with the Ministry of Health from all Gulf Corporation Countries (GCC). Mr. Droege’s career started at Encore Medical, an Austin, TX-based, Orthopedic medical device manufacturer. His entire sales, marketing, and business development career continued in this space with companies such as Don Joy Orthopedics (DJO) and Stryker Spine.

Robert Nathan Is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Fairwinds Medical, an Advisory and Master Distribution company for Medical Devices, Diagnostics and Services in the field of Orthopedics, Spine, Neurological and Pain Management. With tier one partnerships, Fairwinds acts as an outsourced sales, marketing and distributer arm for bespoke emerging companies with cutting edge technologies. Mr. Nathan is a 30 year Investment Banking veteran. He is currently the head of Investment Banking at Revere Securities. His area of expertise includes sourcing equity and debt and financing. Mr. Nathan’s experience includes advising companies on navigating the capital markets along with strategic partnerships and acquisitions. He has worked in multiple industry sectors and has been associated with in excess of $1 Billions of transactions. His emphasis in Healthcare. Mainly Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Healthcare IT and Services. He maintains a series 79, 7 and 63 license. He started his career with Shearson Lehman Brothers and held senior level positions at boutique Investment Banks including but not limited to Josephthal and Company, HC Wainwright and Co and Aegis Capital. Previous Mr. Nathan was the Co-Founder of Psybio Therapeutics. He was instrumental in facilitating Psybio’s receipt of a global exclusive license from Miami University of Oxford Ohio. Mr. Nathan was instrumental in providing the company infrastructure, opening channels to capital and obtaining the license. Mr. Nathan was previously the Co- Founder and Chairman of KJR Aviation, a Private Jet charter brokerage company and Co-Founded B Warrior Matial Arts School. He is passionate about his philanthropic charities which include: Animal Rescue, Child Hunger, in addition, Mr. Nathan is a member of the Community Police Response(CPR) Foundation and a Mentor to Soldiers in the Israel Heart to Heart Foundation.

Dr. Chris Leslie, DO
Dr. Chris Leslie specializes in sports medicine, orthopedic trauma, and adult hip, knee, and shoulder reconstruction. He has practiced in Durant, OK for the last 6 years, but previously founded Leslie Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Lake of the Ozarks, MO, where he practiced for 26 years. Dr. Lesliee was inducted into the Missouri Sports Medicine Hall of Fame in 2014. Dr. Leslie has been on multiple orthopedic design teams for hip and knee reconstruction, and has served as the Lead Design Surgeon for two different orthopedic companies. He has also served as the lead surgeon presenter for multiple orthopedic companies, including lectures at the American Association for Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). Additionally he has lectured and performed surgeries around the world including Vietnam, England, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Australia, and the United States. Dr. Leslie attended and swam competitively for Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX where he graduated with a B.S. in Biology. He attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. Hunter Greene, MD
Dr. Greene is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, holding dual board certifications in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. He specializes in adolescent and adult sports medicine, with a focused expertise in hip, shoulder, and knee arthroscopy, as well as shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. Greene currently serves on the Medical Advisory Boards of Plethy and FairWinds Medical, and previously served on the board of the Positive Coaching Alliance, an organization dedicated to building character and life skills in young athletes through sport. Dr. Greene is deeply passionate about education and mentorship at every level of surgical training. He actively works with medical students, residents, fellows, and practicing surgeons, sharing his expertise to help advance the next generation of orthopedic care. Dr. Greene believes that truly exceptional patient care extends beyond the operating room. He is committed to helping each patient achieve the highest level of health and fitness possible, and takes great pride in educating patients about exercise, nutrition, and recovery as essential components of long-term well-being. Dr. M. Brian Polsky is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Polsky earned his medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. He completed his surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by extra-institutional rotations at Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Chief, Adult Reconstruction – Hip and Knee Replacement Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery I am currently the Chief of Adult Reconstruction, Hip and Knee replacement surgery for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I am also the Chair of the Orhtopaedic Surgery Department at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Areas of interest are developing a comprehensive system wide program for Hip and Knee replacement surgery. Research interests include Team Work, Minimizing infection, and Robotic and Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery. I completed my fellowship training in Hip and Knee Reconstruction Surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore Maryland. I stayed on as an Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery. There I directed the Hip and Knee training program and was involved in research. I left a full time faculty position at Johns Hopkins in July of 2009 to become Director of Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery at The Rubin Institute at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and Chief at Northwest Hospital. In 2013 I returned to Johns Hopkins to be the Director of Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery. In 2007 I co-founded Operation Walk Maryland, a non-profit to take the expertise of Hip and Knee Surgery team to impoverished parts of the world. We have done over 300 free joint replacements and traveled to Peru, Ecuador, India, and El Salvador. We are also actively involved with free surgeries in the United States.

Dr. Rodriguez is a graduate of Harvard College and the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Following an internship at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, he completed his residency at Hospital for Special Surgery. His fellowship in Arthritis and Joint Reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital was completed under Chitranjan S. Ranawat, MD and followed by the Maurice E. Muller Fellowship in Hip Surgery in Bern, Switzerland, under Professors Muller and Ganz. He began his practice at Lenox Hill Hospital in 1995 and became an attending at Hospital for Special Surgery in 1996. Prior to returning to HSS full time, Dr. Rodriguez was Chief of Adult Reconstruction, and Director of the Fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Complex Hip and Knee Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, and was appointed Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Hofstra School of Medicine. Dr. Rodriguez is the recipient of numerous awards, including the James Rand Award for Outstanding Paper in Knee Surgery, the Maurice Cowan Award for Excellence in Medical Education for four years, and the Chitranjan S. Ranawat Mentorship award. Dr. Rodriguez maintains an active research program; with 73 peer-reviewed publications, five ongoing prospective studies and two ongoing randomized studies in the field of hip and knee surgery. He serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Arthroplasty, Bone and Joint Journal, Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research, and the HSS Journal.
